The most massive ballet lesson in Russia hit the Book of Records

Last Saturday, 1,044 people took part in the ballet master class from Nikolai Tsiskaridze at VDNH.

On June 1, Moscow hosted a ballet master class from Nikolai Tsiskaridze, Russian ballet dancer and rector of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet . The master class was attended by 1,044 people, including guests from Singapore, Japan, China, Sweden, Greece and other countries. The lesson was included in the Russian Book of Records as the most popular ballet lesson, TASS reports.

The workshop lasted an hour and a half.

The participants performed the exercises at the ballet machine, and then tried to repeat the movements without support. In order to get to the master class, the participant had to be over ten years old and have had experience in classical choreography for at least a year. The event was held as part of the festival "World Ballet Vacations."
