Romelu Lukaku: how the best striker of the national team of Belgium trains

A significant part of Romelu’s training is running on stairs, short sprints with sleds attached to a belt, movements for developing balance, coordination, accuracy and explosive strength. He does a lot of exercises with TRX loops, dynamic bars on the fitball, throwing the ball into the wall - all this develops the core muscles that are necessary to reduce the risk of injuries in collisions with opponents and during falls.

Romelu trains five times a week at home and a couple more times in the gym at the Manchester United base. Lukaku is a big fan of stretching, exercises with rubber loops and movements aimed at increasing joint mobility. The last he pays every day for 15-20 minutes.
