The main advantage of vegan milk is that it does not contain casein protein, which is present in animal milk. The child’s body assimilates it, but the adult - no longer. That is why adults are better off consuming at least goat and not cow’s milk, or even switch to vegetable.

Plant-based milk is not not only inferior to animal milk in its benefits, but in some cases even surpasses it. Given that the percentage of people with lactose intolerance is increasing, lactose-free milk is an excellent choice, as it does not cause allergies.

In addition, it is much better absorbed, without affecting the digestive and cardiovascular systems, as well as providing the body with protein, complex carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. We list below the most useful options that can become a substitute for ordinary milk of animal origin.

Pleasant taste is an important but not the main reason why almond milk deserves praise. Among the nutrients that our body can provide are omega-3, a lot of magnesium, phosphorus, calcium and zinc. All of them are guaranteed to be in your glass if you learn how to cook such milk yourself. To do this, you need almonds soaked overnight, water, vanilla and honey, which will need to be mixed in a blender.

The nut flavor also has milk made from poppy seeds.

But this is not the only thing that can surprise you. It seems unbelievable, but in a glass of poppy milk there is almost five times more calcium than in a glass of cow! Even a small portion of milk from poppy seeds allows us to get more calcium than the recommended daily allowance. This is the main reason why such a product is worth trying and adding to your diet.
