As a matter of fact: if you wash your hair every day, hair will not become more dirty. How quickly the hair gets dirty depends on the person’s age, the functioning of his hormonal system, as well as on his place of residence (the environment plays a big role - the metropolis or the nature around) and other factors.

For people with oily scalp, the American Academy of Dermatology recommends washing your hair every day.

This is what


specialists from the American Academy of Dermatology:

  • shampoo your scalp. It is most contaminated due to the release of sebum. If you wash only the hair along its entire length, it may become dull and hardened and the skin will remain dirty;
  • use a conditioner or 2 in 1 conditioner shampoo. After the conditioner, the hair is less electrified, looking healthier, smoother and shinier;
  • shampoo and conditioner should suit your hair type .
