Life hack: how to choose meat for barbecue

If you have chosen a good quality pork neck for barbecue, you will not have to spend a lot of time preparing the marinade. All you need is onions, bay leaves and lemons. For example, for two kilograms of pork neck you will need a couple of lemons, two medium heads of onions, several bay leaves, pepper and salt (it is better to use large or even sea, so as not to salt). Squeeze the juice from the lemons into the meat, chop the onions finely there (we need it not for frying, but in order to give a taste). Add freshly ground pepper and salt to taste.

If in doubt whether you have sufficiently salted the meat, take a piece that has not been pickled yet and cook it in the microwave. So you can determine whether to salt yet or not.

If you bought lamb for barbecue, the same thing works, you can add dried tomatoes and sweet red paprika - it will give a beautiful color and a pleasant taste.

For turkey, you can prepare a more complex marinade. Take the turkey thigh, use the same ingredients listed above, squeeze a couple of limes, add three to four tablespoons of soy sauce and five tablespoons of homemade mayonnaise (you can buy good mayonnaise in the store).
