This happens to everyone. Dinner has come to an end, and along with a good mood and a feeling of fullness you will find a mountain of dirty dishes. If you don’t have a dishwasher, we’ll show you how to wash plates and pans properly by hand.

Try to clean plates and pans of all food debris before placing dishes in the sink.

Firstly, this way you won’t clog the drain, and secondly, you don’t have to scrape off hardened food particles again and again. This is especially true for pots and pans (they are always much more difficult to wash).

Before washing the dishes, audit all dirty pots and pans. In those in which you find a hardened layer, add a few drops of dishwashing detergent, then fill the pots with hot water and leave overnight. In the morning, removing food debris will be much easier.

The procedure for washing dishes is easy to remember: from a little dirty to "Oh my God, I will never wash it." First of all, clean the glasses and glassware, because if they are left dirty for a long time, they will be covered with a thin film of fat. Having dealt with the glass, grasp the knives, forks, and so on. And then go to the cups and plates.

Difficultly contaminated dishes will remain in the end - just during this time, hot water with dishwashing gel will slightly split the fat and food debris.

Be sure to clean every part of each item, including the handles on coffee cups and pans (they also leave greasy fingerprints). The expression "clean, already creaks" came just from washing dishes; a dish is considered clean if it starts to creak when you wipe it.

Do not forget that a regular sponge is an ideal place for breeding thousands of germs.

Make it a rule to change the sponge at least once a week or better throw away the foam and buy special napkins for washing dishes. Of course, bacteria can also be found in them, but caring for wipes is much easier. And one more little tip: try using microfiber towels - they dry faster.

Fill the sink with hot soapy water.

The hotter the better. Why? Hot water dissolves fat better and breaks down frozen food residues. If you have two sinks, pour cold water into the second to rinse the dishes you just washed. This will reduce water consumption. No second sink? Then set aside soapy dishes, rinse after handling dirt.

But when washing dishes with the remains of dairy products and starch, hot water should not be used.

Don’t worry, this happens even with the best chefs. Do not immediately strive to scrape off this layer - save energy for something more useful. Instead, fill the bottom of the pan with water, add a cup of vinegar, heat the mixture and bring to a boil.

Once the water boils, remove the pan from the heat and pour most of the liquid. Then add 2 tablespoons of soda. A chemical reaction will occur as soon as the resulting mixture hiss, pour everything from the pan and wash it as usual.

In this case, add a tablespoon of baking soda to the container and pour water, so that it covers the bottom. Then heat the pot until it feels warm to the touch.

Pour it all out - fat will flow out with water.
