How to Make Chili Sin Carne

Ingredients

Beans ( canned )

400 g

Bell pepper (Bulgarian)

2 pcs.

Oil (olive )

2 tbsp. l

Pepper (chili powder)

1 tsp

Pepper (ground black)

to taste

Cooking process

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
  2. Peel and chop the carrots, onions, bell peppers and celery. Grind the garlic.
  3. Put the vegetables in a pan and cook over medium heat until tender.

  4. Cut the tomatoes and add to the pan. Mix well with vegetables and simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Season with spices, salt and pepper.
  6. Add beans and lentils to the pan. Pour in a glass of vegetable broth or water.

  7. Stew the chili for about 25 minutes. Add soya mince a few minutes before the end (if you use it).
  8. Meanwhile, boil the rice until cooked according to the instructions on the package.
  9. Serve the chili sin carne with rice, decorate the dish with herbs.
