Breakfast is no longer the most important meal

The BMJ recently published the results of a

meta-analysis

- it combined the results of 13 separate randomized controlled trials. Scientists have tried to track the effect of breakfast on weight and calories consumed. It turned out that people who did not eat breakfast consumed 260 calories less on average than those who preferred a hearty breakfast.

However, do not make hasty conclusions and starve in the morning. So, there is evidence that adolescents who skip breakfast have worse eating habits and receive less nutrients and healthy micro and macro elements than their breakfast peers.

Do not refuse breakfast for people with type 2 diabetes - this negatively affects blood sugar.
