Gradually, the requirements for physical fitness became more stringent. A year later, a second-degree complex was introduced into the program - with fencing, diving, overcoming a military camp, and for men, ski jumping. In 1934, the standards allowed students to take.

During the existence of the program, the standards changed regularly every 5-8 years.

The TRP system was revived in 2014 year. The official explanation: "so that mass sport becomes even more accessible for people of different ages and different health conditions." The government conducted a complete rebranding of the program: it developed new tests and refreshed the corporate identity.

As in the USSR, for passing the standards you can get a gold, silver or bronze badge.

Why pass the TRP standards? First of all, this is a way to check your physical fitness. In addition to moral satisfaction, you can get quite tangible benefits. For the golden badge of the TRP, some universities give extra points on admission. How many points to reward an applicant, the university decides.

Moscow State University in 2018 promises two points - the same as the winners of the Olympics. Students with the TRP badge have the right to an increased scholarship, but the institution itself decides to give it or not to give it. Employers for the completion of the TRP can reward the employee financially or with time off, but by law they are not yet obliged to do so.
