Absolute The Moscow marathon - the most massive Russian race - will be held in the capital for the seventh time. In addition to the marathon, a 10 km race will be organized, as well as handbike and wheelchair races. All athletes start on the territory of the Luzhniki Stadium and run along the embankments of the Moskva River, along the Garden and Boulevard rings, across the Krymsky Bridge, along Tverskaya Street and Theater Passage, under the walls of the Kremlin.
Participants in the race will see the main Moscow attractions: skyscrapers "Moscow City", "White House", four of the seven Stalinist skyscrapers, the Bolshoi Theater, the FSB building, the Polytechnic Museum, the Kremlin and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
Absolute Moscow Marathon is a member of the Association of International Marathons and Races (AIMS).
42.2 km and 10 km routes have been certified by an international organization since 2013.
This year's sports exhibition will be held at Crocus Expo on September 20 and 21. On it you can get starter packs and listen to lectures on training, recovery, gadgets and nutrition at the marathon. Pacemakers and organizers will talk about the features of the track and introduce elite athletes who, on September 22, will compete for victory at distances of 42.

In 2018, 30 thousand runners came to the start of the Moscow marathon. At a distance of 42.2 km, the winners were Stepan Kiselev and Sardana Trofimova, 10 km - Vladimir Nikitin and Elena Sedova.
