On Sunday, September 23, the sixth Moscow marathon was held in Moscow, which again broke the record for the number of participants. Despite the rainy weather, 30 thousand participants went to the start.
At the marathon distance in men with a score of 2:15:22 Stepan Kiselev won. The second to the finish line came Alexei Troshkin (2:16:01), the third - Artyom Aplachkin (2:19. 54).
Among women at a distance of 42.2 km, the first with a result of 2:28:31 was Sardana Trofimova, winner of the Moscow marathon last year. The second finished Tatyana Arkhipova (2:35:08), and Maria Osokina closed the top three (2:37:31).
In the men's 10 km race, Vladimir Nikitin became the winner (28:47), Denis Vasiliev came second to finish (30: 26), the third - Arthur Burtsev (30:34). In the women's standings, Elena Sedova (33:23) became the winner, Svetlana Simakova (33:24) took second place, Irina Sergeeva (33:27) became the third.
Traditionally, handbikes and racing strollers also took part in the competition. Among the handbikers, Alexander Davidovich and Svetlana Moshkovich defeated, and Vitaly Gritsenko and Natalya Ryzhova in wheelchairs.
